Senator Creem Receives Award from Stand for Children

(State House, Boston) Senator Cynthia Stone Creem (D. Newton) is pleased to announce that she was recently was named to Stand for Children’s 2008 Legislative Honor Roll. Senator Creem was selected based on her leadership as Chairperson of the Revenue Committee and for successfully working to reform the State’s corporate tax laws.
“Education has always been one of my top priorities and I am honored to that Stand for Children has selected me to be on their Legislative Honor Roll,” said Senator Creem.
Stand for Children is a grassroots organization focused on securing educational opportunities for children by securing adequate funding for public schools, and reforming education policies and practices to help children thrive academically.
